Sleights Community Hub (our non-profit community arm) is open on a Wednesday and Sunday, 10:00 – 18:00. A warm space and community cafe offering free advice, support, information and signposting to carers and older adults, and their loved ones living with dementia, related conditions, MS, Parkinsons, aging, older people and frailty. 

There is no catchment area, anyone can access the Sleights Community Hub and there is no referral required. 

We work with Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council, range of services and VCS’s in the area, and there is a range of free activities including:

• Chair based exercise 
• Art and wellbeing sessions 
• Holistic therapies 
• Dementia support 
• Carer support 
• Singing for the brain 
• Knit and Natter 
• Internet with a laptop and printer 
• The Suppertastics Pie Club Supper club on the third Wednesday evening of each month with a quiz or activity (£5.00 per person – 2 courses and free drinks)
• The Weekenders Fortnightly Sunday carer and dementia social and lunch club with activities (£7.50 per person – 2 courses and free drinks) 
• The Pubtastics Monthly carer and dementia social and peer support group at the pub (people responsible for paying for own food and drinks)
